In order to expand opportunities for all children beginning in grade two, we highly encourage parents to purchase a laptop if they desire one to one computer instruction.

Student Owned Laptop Computer Minimum Requirements
This applies to any student computer that will utilize the SJCSD Digital Network (wired or wireless) for School network resources or the Internet.

Windows XP Professional SP2 or Windows XP Home SP2 (preferred through June 2008). ~Optional is Vista Home Premium, Ultimate or Business editions.

Technology support for any student system is the responsibility of the owner. ~District staff/teachers are not authorized to install, configure or repair any student owned computer.
